The GARBAGE story

Romans 3:23

King James Version

23 For all have sinned,

and come short of the glory of God;

It started when Joe Biden was put in place.

We knew trouble was "afoot".

When he was of no use anymore, they "dumped" him.

In his place, he recommended Kamala.

Was it by choice, or was he given no choice?

At a recent Trump rally, a comedian drops a bomb.

He says the "only floating garbage" is Puerto Rico.

Even I was shocked at his statement.

Picking up from that, Biden says the only garbage he knows are Trump's supporters.

This, he says, as Kamala was on her major campaign.

Was this a "sabotage" of sorts?

Did the current president feel left out?

Was he about to have the last say?

Did they think he's better off home"

And not at the campaign?

Well, he needed to speak.

He was still president, after all.

And speak he did.

To the detriment of his "chosen" candidate.

Next thing you know, Trump picks up on the insult.

He rides a garbage truck, complete with orange vest on.

Vivek Ramaswamy also tries his hand emptying the bin into a garbage truck.

It's become a stunt, and a "steal".

Biden stole the thunder from Kamala.

Trump stole the thunder from Biden.

The whole Trump campaign stole the thunder from the Harris campaign.

Resulting in thunderous applause from Donald's supporters.

Not only that, he continues to wear that vest at another campaign.

Initially, he said he wanted to take that off already.

That he wanted his usual blue jacket.

But his campaigners said he looked "thinner" with the vest on.

Joke or not, he kept the vest on, to the delight of his supporters.

There are many layers to this "garbage" story, as you can see.

The comedian insulted.

The current president insulted.

The contender exalted.

He got creative, and milked the insult for all its worth.

And came out winning, not "pikon" as we would say in our language.

("Pikon" means you can't handle a joke.)

Well, Trump could.

He's used to being insulted.

As he also used to hurl his own.

But is this how GOD wants us all to be?

Like a bunch of bickering, willful children?

Are we going to remain clueless about His laws?

JESUS spelled out our errors for us:

Luke 6:45

King James Version

45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart

bringeth forth that which is good;

and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart

bringeth forth that which is evil:

for of the abundance of the heart

his mouth speaketh.

Matthew 15:11

King James Version

11 Not that which goeth into the mouth

defileth a man;

but that which cometh out of the mouth,

this defileth a man.

Matthew 15:18-19

King James Version

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth

come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts,

murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts,

false witness, blasphemies:

When you spew filth, expect garbage to come back at you.

Pretty much like when people dump their garbage in rivers, and oceans.

The ocean, through tides, winds, and waves, bring it back to you.

We can't be rid of this cycle, until, and unless, we stop throwing garbage.

Change comes from us.

We need to start within ourselves first.

By repenting of our sins.

By being born again.

By being subject to GOD's laws.

By loving GOD with all our heart.

By believing in JESUS as the SON of GOD.

By taking guidance from the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD.

By being a new person in CHRIST.

All the garbage in your heart will be thrown out.

Your mouth cannot spew garbage anymore.

You heart cannot cultivate filth anymore.

Your body has become the TEMPLE of the HOLY SPIRIT.

You will want your soul acceptable to the LORD.

Your path is holiness.

Your goal is eternal life with JESUS.

You want to be done with the world's filth.

Only JESUS can help you do that.

Isaiah 53:7

King James Version

7 He was oppressed,

and he was afflicted,

yet he opened not his mouth:

he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter,

and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb,

so he openeth not his mouth.

Sometimes I think we're all a bunch of unruly kids.

Not realizing the chain reaction from our thoughts, words, and actions.

Will our HEAVENLY FATHER finally discipline us?

Only He knows when He's had enough of our foolishness.

It's fair to say we've had tons of warnings.

FREEDOM from profanity

Proverbs 16:21

King James Version

21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent:

and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.

What comes out from your mouth?

Sweet words, or profanity?

Kindness, or anger?

Compassion, or cruelty?

Help, or stumblingblocks?

Blessings, or curse?

What is profanity?

Merriam-Webster defines it as:

"the use of profane language"

But what is "profane"?

Again, Merriam-Webster defines it as:

-- secular

-- unsanctified

-- irreverent

-- obscene

-- vulgar

Other descriptions come to mind:

-- abusive

-- contemptuous

-- ungodly

The Bible gives us examples:

Exodus 20:7

King James Version

7 Thou shalt not take

the name of the Lord thy God in vain;

for the Lord will not hold him guiltless

that taketh his name in vain.

Proverbs 6:12

King James Version

12 A naughty person,

a wicked man,

walketh with a froward mouth.

Proverbs 21:9

King James Version

9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop,

than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

Colossians 3:8

King James Version

8 But now ye also put off all these;

anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy,

filthy communication out of your mouth.

2 Timothy 2:16

King James Version

16 But shun profane and vain babblings:

for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

James 1:26

King James Version

26 If any man among you seem to be religious,

and bridleth not his tongue,

but deceiveth his own heart,

this man's religion is vain.

James 3:6-8

King James Version

6 And the tongue is a fire,

a world of iniquity:

so is the tongue among our members,

that it defileth the whole body,

and setteth on fire the course of nature;

and it is set on fire of hell.

7 For every kind of beasts,

and of birds,

and of serpents,

and of things in the sea,

is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

8 But the tongue can no man tame;

it is an unruly evil,

full of deadly poison.

How to be FREE from profanity?

Become born again.

The born again is taught by the HOLY SPIRIT.

SPIRIT will teach you all things JESUS.

SPIRIT teaches us HOLINESS.

Look what JESUS taught us:

Matthew 12:31-33

King James Version

31 Wherefore I say unto you,

All manner of sin and blasphemy

shall be forgiven unto men:

but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost

shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word

against the Son of man,

it shall be forgiven him:

but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost,

it shall not be forgiven him,

neither in this world,

neither in the world to come.

33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good;

or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt:

for the tree is known by his fruit.

Matthew 12:35-37

King James Version

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart

bringeth forth good things:

and an evil man out of the evil treasure

bringeth forth evil things.

36 But I say unto you,

That every idle word that men shall speak,

they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified,

and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Matthew 15:11

King James Version

11 Not that which goeth into the mouth

defileth a man;

but that which cometh out of the mouth,

this defileth a man.

Matthew 15:18-20

King James Version

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth

come forth from the heart;

and they defile the man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts,

murders, adulteries, fornications,

thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20 These are the things which defile a man:

but to eat with unwashen hands

defileth not a man.

Look what James taught us:

James 3:10-18

King James Version

10 Out of the same mouth

proceedeth blessing and cursing.

My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place

sweet water and bitter?

12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries?

either a vine, figs?

so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

13 Who is a wise man

and endued with knowledge among you?

let him shew out of a good conversation

his works with meekness of wisdom.

14 But if ye have bitter envying

and strife in your hearts,

glory not,

and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above,

but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is,

there is confusion and every evil work.

17 But the wisdom that is from above

is first pure,

then peaceable,

gentle,

and easy to be intreated,

full of mercy and good fruits,

without partiality,

and without hypocrisy.

18 And the fruit of righteousness

is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Look what king Solomon taught us:

Proverbs 25:15

King James Version

15 By long forbearing is a prince persuaded,

and a soft tongue breaketh the bone.

In tenderness, is CHRIST.

For He is PRINCE of PEACE.

Isaiah 9:6

King James Version

6 For unto us a child is born,

unto us a son is given:

and the government shall be upon his shoulder:

and his name shall be called Wonderful,

Counsellor,

The mighty God,

The everlasting Father,

The Prince of Peace.

Let us, therefore, take counsel, from the PRINCE of PEACE.

Only through JESUS, can man have peace.

Only then can we speak good things.

And never profanity.

That is the ideal.

VERSES on SPEECH

John 16:13

King James Version

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,

he will guide you into all truth:

for he shall not speak of himself;

but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:

and he will shew you things to come.

It's been said, talk is cheap.

It truly is.

For we do not think, before we speak.

We babble, we curse, we hurt.

Instead, let's speak, with thought.

Let us have heart.

Let us be ruled by GOD.

In word, in truth, in tongue.

Here's what the Bible says about speech:

Psalm 12:3-4

King James Version

3 The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips,

and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

4 Who have said,

With our tongue will we prevail;

our lips are our own:

who is lord over us?

Psalm 19:14

King James Version

14 Let the words of my mouth,

and the meditation of my heart,

be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord,

my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 37:30-31

King James Version

30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom,

and his tongue talketh of judgment.

31 The law of his God is in his heart;

none of his steps shall slide.

Psalm 49:1-3

King James Version

49 Hear this, all ye people;

give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:

2 Both low and high, rich and poor, together.

3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom;

and the meditation of my heart

shall be of understanding.

Psalm 141:1-3

King James Version

141 Lord, I cry unto thee:

make haste unto me;

give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense;

and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

3 Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth;

keep the door of my lips.

Proverbs 8:13

King James Version

13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:

pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way,

and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Proverbs 15:1

King James Version

15 A soft answer turneth away wrath:

but grievous words stir up anger.

Proverbs 15:2

King James Version

2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright:

but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

Proverbs 15:4

King James Version

4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:

but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

Proverbs 16:1

King James Version

16 The preparations of the heart in man,

and the answer of the tongue,

is from the Lord.

Proverbs 16:13

King James Version

13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings;

and they love him that speaketh right.

Proverbs 16:21

King James Version

21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent:

and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.

Proverbs 16:23

King James Version

23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth,

and addeth learning to his lips.

Proverbs 16:24

King James Version

24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,

sweet to the soul,

and health to the bones.

Proverbs 16:32

King James Version

32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;

and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Proverbs 18:13

King James Version

13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it,

it is folly and shame unto him.

Proverbs 18:20

King James Version

20 A man's belly shall be satisfied

with the fruit of his mouth;

and with the increase of his lips

shall he be filled.

Proverbs 18:21

King James Version

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue:

and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Proverbs 21:23

As the Lord liveth,

what the Lord saith unto me,

that will I speak.

Matthew 12:36-37

King James Version

36 But I say unto you,

That every idle word that men shall speak,

they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified,

and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Ephesians 4:14-15

King James Version

14 That we henceforth be no more children,

tossed to and fro,

and carried about with every wind of doctrine,

by the sleight of men,

and cunning craftiness,

whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love,

may grow up into him in all things,

which is the head, even Christ:

Ephesians 4:24-25

King James Version

24 And that ye put on the new man,

which after God is created

in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Wherefore putting away lying,

speak every man truth with his neighbour:

for we are members one of another.

Ephesians 4:29

King James Version

29 Let no corrupt communication

proceed out of your mouth,

but that which is good to the use of edifying,

that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Colossians 3:16

King James Version

16 Let the word of Christ

dwell in you richly in all wisdom;

teaching and admonishing one another in psalms

and hymns and spiritual songs,

singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Colossians 3:17

King James Version

17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,

do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Hebrews 13:15-16

King James Version

15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise

to God continually,

that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

16 But to do good and to communicate forget not:

for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

James 1:17-18

King James Version

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,

and cometh down from the Father of lights,

with whom is no variableness,

neither shadow of turning.

18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth,

that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

James 1:19-20

King James Version

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren,

let every man be swift to hear,

slow to speak,

slow to wrath:

20 For the wrath of man worketh not

the righteousness of God.

James 3:1-2

King James Version

3 My brethren, be not many masters,

knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

2 For in many things we offend all.

If any man offend not in word,

the same is a perfect man,

and able also to bridle the whole body.

James 3:5

King James Version

5 Even so the tongue is a little member,

and boasteth great things.

Behold,

how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

James 3:6

King James Version

6 And the tongue is a fire,

a world of iniquity:

so is the tongue among our members,

that it defileth the whole body,

and setteth on fire the course of nature;

and it is set on fire of hell.

James 3:7-9

King James Version

7 For every kind of beasts,

and of birds, and of serpents,

and of things in the sea, is tamed,

and hath been tamed of mankind:

8 But the tongue can no man tame;

it is an unruly evil,

full of deadly poison.

9 Therewith bless we God,

even the Father;

and therewith curse we men,

which are made after the similitude of God.

James 3:10

King James Version

10 Out of the same mouth

proceedeth blessing and cursing.

My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

James 3:18

King James Version

18 And the fruit of righteousness

is sown in peace of them that make peace.

James 5:12

King James Version

12 But above all things, my brethren,

swear not,

neither by heaven,

neither by the earth,

neither by any other oath:

but let your yea be yea;

and your nay, nay;

lest ye fall into condemnation.

If only we could guard our thoughts, there'd be peace.

If only we could curb our tongue, there'd be harmony.

If only we are born again, we'd be taught by SPIRIT.

In JESUS is peace.

PROVERBS on speech

Proverbs 18:21

King James Version

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue:

and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

How important are the words we speak?

People say things like:

"Talk is cheap."

"If you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all."

"Zip your lip."

Or, they cuss, and curse.

Or, they command, or commend.

What is the impact of the spoken word?

How shall we speak to our fellow beings?

The Bible tells us how:

Proverbs 6:16-19

King James Version

16 These six things doth the Lord hate:

yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies,
